Father's Day... !!

Hello all...


Today's post is about the Art journal spread I have created for June-More Than Words Challenge.


Theme for this month is Father & Steampunk.


To create the page
firstly have applied gesso on page then have cut random pcs of cardstocks and stuck at the centre of the page .
Stencilling was done using kaisercraft stencils and liquitex light modelling paste.


Later have taken a heart shape die cut and have stuck layers of gears die cuts on that & also at the sides of the heart. ( sizzix gears die was used )
Have also stuck sisal fibres under the heart shape die cut.
I have also incorporated metal embellishments colored with vintaj patina color. Some number Die cuts at the edges.


For coloring I have used Water Soluble Prima Pastels and Lindy's sprays , Prima Rust Pastes .


I have also adhered some washi tape at the edges, have used prima & kaisercraft stamps for stamping .


Have stuck Happy Father's Day Sentiment on the Heart and have added Prima Gold Glitter around the gears die cuts.

Mixed Media Album... !!

Hello all....


Today post is about my mini mixed media album I have created for a Dear Friend and Guide Anshu Tiwary , she is a Mandala Weaver ( love her work )  and Tarot Card Reader ( link to her website ).. !!


It is 6*6 mini album with 4 pages and stores upto 8 pics .


I have arranged a  mini layout for all  pics in the albums.


I have used Papericious Vintage Rose Wood Collection Paper , Papericious Flourishes & Fence Chipboards , Papericious Fabric Flowers .


I have used AALL and CREATE Stamp set designed by Bipasha bk  and Autour de Mwa  for stamping on the cover page and inside pages . I have also used Prima butterfly stamp for the inside pages .


I have used some hearts die cuts , prima die cuts , sequins , flourish chipboards,  book pages and pattern papers in the layout  for each pic.

Mixed Media Mini Album #1

Hello all...

Today I am sharing a mini album  which measures 4.5" * 6" .

I have made this album using Papericious – Its Peach Time Premium Collection .

For the album cover I have decorated it by using Papericious- (chipboard, lace , pink jute cord ).

I have also used Prima Forest Leaves die –cuts,   Prima micro-beads (blush)

 some stamping done using Hot Off the press- Artful collection  stamp ,

have added a circular shaker element , some mulberry flowers and

Tim Holtz Idea-ology stickers ( occasions – small  talk).

For the inside pages I have used some mixed media techniques and decorated it .

The album consists space  for around 10 pictures .

For the decoration of inside pages I have used card stock , die-cuts ,mulberry  flower petal, gauze ,sequins and pearl , washi tapes and some stamped parchment paper die-cut .

The album has got 3 pages with 2 pockets .

butterfly- art journal #2

hello all....

Today I am sharing My Art Journal Page.

To start  this Art journal Page ......

Firstly I have stamped the background using Carte Postale stamp and Hero Arts stamp using black Archival Ink .

Then I have used Prima –butterfly stamp for stamping.

Later ...

I have coloured the background using Lindys Stamp Gang sprays (Treasure Island Turquoise, Silhouette Silver).

For colouring the butterflies I have used Distress Ink (Broken China , Dried Marigold ,Evergreen Bough , Picked Raspberry , Barn Door).

I have used Charcoal Pencil at the edges of the butterflies for the outline effect.

Then I have used Liquitex Modelling Paste For Stenciling .

Finally I have used Fiskars Good time Quotes Stamp  for the sentiment on the page.

Wild & Free

Hello all...

Today I am sharing a mixed media tag which I have created for More Than Words Mini Challenge .
The word compulsory to be used was FREE.

For my tag firstly I have used gesso on the black cardstock tag then I have used  prima alphabet stencil and prima antique silver crackle paste for stenciling.

After that u have punched some holes and edges and inserted silver brads into them .
I have also attached a D-ring at top edge.
Later I have used Dina Wakleys paints ( lime color ) and painted my tag.

I have used some prima papers , sentiment tiles , cheese cloth , prima art stones , prima mini art stones , mulberry flowers and arranged my tag .
Have added sparkle to my flowers .
Added some glitter stones too.

Learning to fly - art journal #1

Hello all

Today I am sharing my art journal page

Most material used in my art journal page  I had purchased at a destash sale..  and eagerly wanted to try the products.

I am using my strathmore journal book.

For stenciling backgroynd
I have used antique crackle paste silver from Prima Marketing Inc.
I have used Art Base number stencil .

Stamps used are kaiser craft and Hampton number stamp( love that stamp  and got at a discounted price too )  . Stamping done randomly  using Ranger Archival Ink black color.

I have used lindy stamp gang sprays for coloring .

I have splashed some photo inks too on the page .

I have used metal embellishments gears and colored them using Ranger Vintaj patina colors  ( they too good for coloring metal embellishments. The colors which I had  got well blended to the background)

Finally have used charcoal pencil at the edge of pages ( applied and rubbed off ) and have used Tim Holtz Idea-ology clipping stickers on the page ...

Beautiful... !!

Today's post is about the layout made for More Than Words Challenge- March


Babies are the most beautiful gift of God( so I have chosen a baby's pic for the layout ).. and I love Butterflies so here is my take for the challenge.

I have used a black cardstock as base , sewed on right side of the page .

 I have stuck jute cord at other edge. Beside the cord and stitched lines I have used Gabi line stitch stamp , versamark and gold embossing powder and embossed stitched design.

I have used liquitex modelling paste and prima stencils for background texture.

I have done some stamping with color box Gold color .

For more texture I have added paper mesh , prima crochet doily die cut , 2crafty chipboard circle lace panel and some tag die cutouts .

I have applied prima paint metalliaque steampunk copper randomly at background and have colored the chipboards with the paint also.

I have also applied prima black gesso at the edges of cluster.

Finally I have added prima flowers, bottle cap, sequins, gold pearls , butterflies , prima glass glitter gold & pearl , gold glitter balls , sentiment die cuts to my layout &  metal charms I have attached to thread at top corner where I have sewed it.
